How to analyze a Four Light Setup:

1. Measure the Main Light with your light meter.

2. Figure out your Light Ratio between your Main Light and Fill Light.

3.  Then compare the light ratios between the Main and other lights such as a hair light and backdrop light.

4.  Think of each light separately.

Different Portrait Lighting Styles shape the features of the face differently.  You can emphasize and de-emphasize features using different lighting styles.
